The BSA policies state:
- Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers
- Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. A volunteer’s Youth Protection training record must be current at the time of registration renewal.
- To complete the training online, click here. This will allow you to take the course, obtain your certificate, and update your record. No further action will be needed.
Important note:
- If your member ID is not in your MyScouting Profile, please update your Profile to add the member ID.
- If you have multiple member IDs, please insure your latest Youth Protection is reflected on all your registrations.
- If you have already completed the training, please provide a copy of your certificate to your unit leader to update your training record in the Training Manager tool on my.scouting.org. An additional resource is your Unit Commissioner or District Executive who can assist in getting your record updated.
Should you have questions or need assistance, please contact the Member Care Contact Center at 972-580-2489. Thank you for your commitment to the Scouting movement.
